Job Title - Litigation Secretary Company Location - Irvine, CAHybrid Work Schedule | Direct HirePay- $60.00/hrJob Summary of the of the Litigation Secretary positionIntegr8staff seeks a versatile and experienced Litigation Secretary with experience serving a law firm. This position requires a highly motivated individual with experience as a litigation secretary (some of which must be California litigation experience).Responsibilities of the Litigation Secretary positionThe Practice Specialist will be working for the Firm's Support Services.Format, input, edit, retrieve, copy, scan, and transmit legal documentsPrepare pleadings and discovery documents for filing and serviceeFiling - State and FederalCreate pleading/discovery binders, indexing and filing documents, organize and file case documents.Editing ContractsIntakeUtilize docketing/calendaring department to track court and filing deadlinesAttorney timesheets, expense summaries, and client billsAssists with overflow work and other projects as assignedPerforms overflow typing, filing, or photocopying as time permits and as requested by other attorneysMailingsMaintain client confidence by keeping client/attorney information confidentialRequirements of the Litigation Secretary position8-10+ years of litigation secretary experience in a law firm (preferably California litigation experience)Business Trial Litigation experience is highly desired.Extensive knowledge of litigation e-filings and trial procedures, federal, state and appellate court procedures, and federal and state court rules is required.Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.Excellent technical, organizational and administrative skills as well as strong interpersonal relationships skills.Ale to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment.This person should be able to work under pressure, remain flexible, be proactive, resourceful and efficient.Candidate must be able to handle multiple projects and changing priorities on a very busy desk.Must have document management and other office technologiesCandidate must have the ability to learn new skills and systems quickly.Type 75+ wpm and have excellent spelling, grammar and punctuationBachelor's Degree preferred
