Financial Analyst

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!**The Role**• Lead statutory and GAAP accounting and reporting for fixed income, including bonds and mortgage loans.• Ensure regulatory compliance with standards, filing requirements, and state insurance regulations.• Execute internal controls over financial reporting to support risk mitigation.• Provide guidance on financial reporting practices, problem-solving, and process improvements.• Lead process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions.• Participate in projects and system implementations to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.**What You'll Need**• Minimum of 3-4 years of related experience.• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.• Experience in statutory accounting, preferably within the life insurance industry.• Demonstrated expertise in fixed income securities, accounting, and investment reporting.• Hands-on experience with NAIC Accounting Practices and Procedures manual.• CPA preferred.**What's On Offer**• Competitive annual salary of $76,843 - $126,791 per year.• Flexible hybrid work options.• Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.• Opportunities for professional development and leadership programs.Apply via Haystack today!
