With a commitment to professional development and growth, let us connect you to your next career opportunity.What We Offer6% shift premium for 2nd shift401K Company match (up to 4% - dollar for dollar)Professional development, training, and tuition reimbursement programsExcellent medical, dental, vision, and life insurance policy optionsOpportunities for career advancement with an industry leading companyThe MIG Welder position will be located at our Hidden Lake Facility here in Duncan, SC.ResponsibilitiesWeekend Day Shift welder (Friday-Sunday 5:00am-5:00pm)Weld materials are primarily aluminumTypical operations include welding aluminum tubing to pads using turntable, back plates and knobs to brackets, hooks to square tubing, pads to extrusions, etc…Weld operator is responsible for all equipment set ups and to perform a proper weld on each part / component.Responsible to complete each discrete jobs by verifying proper material from staged area before welding.Follow weld instructions/requirements from discrete job, access drawings from computer system to verify special requirements.Move/deliver product to next operation.Personal QualitiesCommunication – possess strong written and verbal skillsAttitude – maintains positive outlook and response under pressure.Problem Solving – ability to diagnose and recommend solutions to resolve issuesDetailed – able to keep detailed and accurate recordsMeet production standards for output / efficiencyQualificationsHigh school diploma/GED preferredMinimum of two years MIG welding experience requiredWelder certification is a plus
