Material Handler/Forklift Operator

· Process incoming wire and all associated paperwork through MRP System. · Unload truck delivering maintenance items as needed and deliver to appropriate locations. · Verify accuracy of incoming materials prior to usage or storage. · Check wire certifications, weight and other documents as required. · Deliver wire to headers and process transactions. · Process DMR paperwork as needed for raw material issues. · Scrap parts as needed per QC DMR paperwork forwarded to the wire room. · Order supplies as needed for the wire room. · Follow current organizational requirements for wire, stems, tubs, dumpsters, scrap projects, etc. · Responsible for understanding and conforming to material handling and forklift standards and procedures. · Performing job, individual must be able to mount and dismount forklift frequently throughout the work shift. · Lifting required up to 50 pounds. · Assist shipping department as needed for material handling needs. · Responsible to maintain outside man door stairs in winter weather- shovel and salt as needed. · Individual will be exposed to normal machine shop environment (smoke, oil mist and high noise frequencies.
