Dream Catchers EDH – El Dorado Hills, CA Part-Time | Tuesday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay: $20 per hour (Hours may be flexible)About Us: Dream Catchers EDH is an adult day program dedicated to empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through engaging activities, life-skills development, community involvement, and meaningful social connections. We provide a supportive, inclusive, and fun environment where participants can grow and thrive.Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Activities Assistant to support our daily programming and participant care. This is a very hands-on, active role perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, staying busy, and making a meaningful impact.Key Responsibilities:Assist with and lead daily activities such as arts & crafts, games, fitness, music, cooking, and life-skills lessonsProvide one-on-one and small group support to participantsEncourage positive social interaction and behaviorAssist with community outings and special eventsFridays are designated community outing daysDrive participants to and from community outingsAssist with participant pick-ups and drop-offs before or after program hours as neededMaintain a clean, safe, and organized environmentAssist with meals, snacks, and daily transitionsSupport staff with program routines and participant needsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to walk comfortably for extended periodsMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to assist participants with mobility and daily activitiesQualifications:Must be at least 18 years oldMust have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving recordMust be comfortable driving participantsExperience working with individuals with disabilities is preferredPatient, dependable, positive, and team-orientedStrong communication and people skillsMust pass a background checkCPR/First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain)Schedule:Tuesday–Friday9:00 AM – 5:00 PMHours may be flexible based on program needsOccasional early or late shifts for participant transportation may be requiredPay & Perks:$20 per hourPaid staff lunch on Friday outing daysFun, active, and rewarding work environmentWhy Join Dream Catchers EDH?Meaningful, purpose-driven workSupportive and positive teamFun, high-energy days with community outingsOpportunity to truly impact the lives of othersHow to Apply: Apply through Indeed with your resume and a brief message telling us why you’d like to join our team.Email your resume to info@dreamcatchersedh.org
