NAVA Software solutions is looking for a Sr. Data DeveloperDetails:Senior Data DeveloperLocation: Houston TX - 2 days/week hybridType: Full time/Direct HireAs the Senior Data Developer, you will:Implement and maintain consistently available database systemsDevelop and maintain data models using DBT, data flow diagrams, and system architectureCollaborate with stakeholders and Data Architect to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and secure data and system solutionsWork with Integration and Analytic resources to define data models to support integrations and analyticsLeverage tools for DataOps (CI/CD)RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field8+ years of work experience; 10+ years of experience in related work if no degreeA Master's Degree may substitute two (2) years' of work experienceProficient in SQL, DBT, and ELT/ETL processesCreating and maintaining Stored ProceduresHighly experienced in SnowflakeAbility to perform data analysis, identify source data issues, and provide written recommendations for data qualityCapable of translating business requirements into technical solutionsStrong knowledge of data integration, data warehousing, data governance best practices, and security controlsAbility to work independently and as a part of a collaborative team to translate tasks into deliverablesEffective at designing and implementing solutions that meet scalability and performance requirementsPreferred SkillsExperience with BI reporting tools such as Tabluea or PowerBI (Sigma Computing preferred)Experience working with Python to perform data analysis, data transformations, and data cleansingDataOps experience (Team utilizes DataOps.Live platform)ExperienceSQL: 8 Years (Required)Snowflake: 4 Years (Required)Python: 5 years (Preferred)BI Tools (Sigma Computing, Tableau, Power BI, etc): 4 Years (Preferred)
