Responsibilities
Work across several Aegis programs with responsibilities in Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Integrated Air Missile Defense (IAMD) tasking for the Mission Planner.
Design and develop models and algorithms in support of BMD and IAMD missions.
Analyze and assess mission capabilities and solutions.
Handle algorithmic design, data analysis, requirements development, modeling, and simulation.
Develop solutions to mathematical and physics-based problems in the area of mission planning for IAMD scenarios.
Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into a total system solution that acknowledges technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Aerodynamics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or closely related technical field.
Minimum two (2) years' relevant systems engineering work experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level – U.S. Citizenship required.
Desired Skills
MS level degree in Aerodynamics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or closely related technical field.
Demonstrated interest and ability to learn new tools and technologies and successfully leverage those to complete projects in a timely manner.
US Navy Operator or Aegis Combat Systems experience.
Ability to research technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
Matlab familiarity.
Aerodynamic modeling.
Software requirements familiarity.
Machine learning familiarity.
Data science familiarity.
Desire to grow into a leader.
Security Clearance
Requires Secret clearance. US Citizen required.

Other Information
Work Schedules: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
Salary Range: $75,000 – $135,961 (New Jersey).
Full-Time, First Shift.
Relocation Available: Possible.
