Internship Operations Coordinator
The Internship Operations Coordinator supports QuantHub's growing workforce initiatives by coordinating the day-to-day execution of internship programs, student experiences, and program operations.This role serves as the operational backbone for Alabama Data Scholars, the new AI for Alabama initiative launching this fall, and future internship cohorts and workforce programs. Working closely with the Employer Partnerships Manager, this position ensures internship programs are delivered with consistency, accuracy, and exceptional attention to detail while creating an outstanding experience for students and employer partners.Because QuantHub is an education technology company, this role also supports the integration of AI and data skills training into every internship experience through QuantHub's learning platform and skill pathways.RequirementsInternship Program OperationsCoordinate internship cohorts from application through program completionMaintain program timelines, operational calendars, and implementation plansTrack onboarding, milestones, deliverables, and participant progressCoordinate required documentation and participant recordsMonitor deadlines and proactively follow up to keep programs on scheduleStudent ExperienceServe as the primary point of contact for student questions and supportCoordinate student onboarding, orientation, and ongoing communicationsMonitor participation, learning progress, and internship completionEnsure students understand expectations, deadlines, and available resourcesEscalate concerns appropriately while maintaining an exceptional student experienceEmployer OperationsPartner closely with the Employer Partnerships Manager to ensure seamless internship implementationCoordinate employer onboarding and operational communicationsManage internship logistics, scheduling, and required documentationCoordinate employer follow-up throughout each internship cohortSkills Training & Learning PlatformCoordinate student enrollment into QuantHub's AI and data skill pathwaysMonitor learner progress and credential completionSupport integration of learning activities into the internship experienceHelp students navigate QuantHub's learning platform and resourcesAI-Enabled Operations & Continuous ImprovementUtilize AI tools to improve communication, reporting, and recurring operational tasksRecommend practical improvements to workflows and standard operating proceduresSupport implementation of scalable processes as workforce programs continue to growIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining a high-quality participant experienceData & ReportingMaintain accurate student, employer, and program recordsTrack participation and program metricsAssist with grant reporting and stakeholder reportingEnsure data quality across workforce program systemsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Communications, Project Management, Human Resources, or related field2-4 years of relevant program coordination, workforce, higher education, customer success, or nonprofit experienceExceptional organizational and project management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detailStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and cloud collaboration toolsPreferred: Experience supporting internship, workforce, or education programsInterest in education technology, AI, or workforce developmentExperience with learning management systems, CRM platforms, or participant management systemsExperience coordinating events or multi-stakeholder initiativesFamiliarity with AI-powered productivity tools and workflow automationBenefitsFlexible Time Off (FTO) 11 paid holidays per yearFlexible remote workComprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and supplemental coverage options (subject to plan terms and eligibility; see full plan documents for details)SIMPLE IRA with a 3% employer match, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements
