Salesforce Administrator / DeveloperAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Salesforce Administrator / Developer to support, improve, and scale our Salesforce environment. This role will be responsible for day-to-day Salesforce administration, user support, automation, reporting, configuration, and custom development.The ideal candidate understands both business operations and technical systems. They should be comfortable working with different departments, gathering requirements, improving processes, and building practical Salesforce solutions that help the business run more efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesSalesforce AdministrationManage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, queues, public groups, and sharing settings.Create and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and Lightning record pages.Build and maintain reports, dashboards, list views, and operational metrics.Support users with Salesforce issues, requests, training, and troubleshooting.Maintain data quality through duplicate management, required fields, validation rules, and cleanup projects.Manage Salesforce releases, sandbox testing, change sets, and deployment documentation.Salesforce DevelopmentBuild and maintain Salesforce Flows, approval processes, and automation.Develop custom solutions using Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs when needed.Troubleshoot and resolve errors related to automation, integrations, validation rules, and custom code.Review existing automation and code for performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.Support integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems.Business Process SupportWork with department leaders and end users to gather requirements and translate business needs into Salesforce solutions.Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual work, and improve system adoption.Document system changes, business processes, field usage, and automation logic.Prioritize requests based on business impact, urgency, and available resources.Partner with operations, sales, finance, service, and leadership teams to improve Salesforce usability and reporting.Required Qualifications3+ years of Salesforce administration experience.Experience building Flows, validation rules, custom fields, page layouts, reports, and dashboards.Strong understanding of Salesforce security, including profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing rules.Ability to troubleshoot Salesforce errors and explain issues clearly to non-technical users.Experience gathering requirements and documenting business processes.Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.Comfortable managing multiple requests and priorities.Preferred QualificationsSalesforce Administrator certification.Salesforce Platform App Builder certification.Experience with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, or Salesforce APIs.Experience supporting integrations with tools such as NetSuite, DocuSign, Jira, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms.Experience in operations, construction, solar, field service, finance, or service-based industries.Familiarity with Jira or another ticketing system.Experience with Salesforce Field Service, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is practical, organized, and business-minded.
