Adjunct EMS Instructor

DescriptionThis position will be responsible for delivering all levels of the EMS program classes as assigned and must be willing to teach a variety of methodologies. The instructor will also be responsible for course instruction and classroom management.ÂJob DutiesDuties include but are not limited to:teaching classroom/laboratory/clinical sessionsassessment of student learningresponsibility for materials and suppliesAssignments may also include teaching at multiple sites during the course, as class may be held at various IWCC campuses.QualificationsRequiredCurrent State of Iowa licenseAbility to pass a background check and MVRKnowledge of current National EMS Education StandardsAbility to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. driver’s license and good driving recordPhysical DemandsRequires prolonged standing or sitting. Requires frequent bending, stooping or stretching. May require light lifting. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires ability to distinguish letters or symbols.
