Details Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting Day shift with an on-call rotation On-call schedule includes one night per week and one weekend per month Cardiovascular and interventional radiology patient population 13-week contract Requirements Active WI or Compact RN license currently in hand Graduate of an accredited nursing program (education verification required) Minimum 3 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year of critical care experience Cardiovascular intervention experience required Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS Must successfully pass an EKG test Additional Information Utilizes the nursing process and critical thinking in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to deliver patient care Responsible for patient assessments, care planning, intervention, and evaluation Administers medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and applicable state practice standards Develops and executes individualized patient care plans based on physician orders and hospital policy Provides patient and family education tailored to the appropriate level of understanding Participates in department performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance Supports peer review, peer feedback, and ongoing professional development opportunities Quick start position — candidates who can begin promptly are encouraged to apply American Traveler Job ID P-684928.
