Average 34 weekday call shifts per month.Location: Rutland, VermontWe are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a well-established, collaborative anesthesia team serving as the exclusive provider of anesthesia services at a community hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive group of Anesthesiologists working alongside CAAs and CRNAs in a collegial, team-oriented environment.Job Responsibilities:Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for surgical and procedural casesConduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop appropriate anesthesia plansAdminister general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC)Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage hemodynamic stabilityProvide post-anesthesia care and pain managementCollaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, CRNAs, and CAAsParticipate in shared weekday call schedule (34 shifts per month on average)Ensure timely, accurate documentation in accordance with hospital standardsMaintain compliance with regulatory, credentialing, and quality standardsQualifications:MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency programBoard Certified or Board Eligible in AnesthesiologyEligible for or holding an active Vermont medical licenseEligible for hospital credentialing and privilegesCurrent ACLS certification (or ability to obtain)Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient safetyAbility to work collaboratively within a team-based anesthesia modelBenefits:Open to visa candidatesTotal annual compensation approximately $550,000Sign-on and/or retention bonus10 weeks of paid vacation annuallyAnnual CME allowance, licensing, and specialty society reimbursementComprehensive health benefitsShort-term and long-term disability coverage403(b) and 457(b) retirement plansPaid malpractice coverageRelocation assistanceEducational loan repayment
