Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR###***NEEDS SOMEONE WITH RECENT ICU EXPERIENCE***REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years of Minimum ExperienceTraveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st Time TravelersLocals Accepted / Rate Difference: YesSkills: IV Start, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Titration of Cardiac Drips, Use of Rapid response teams, Feeding Tube and Management, Heparin Protocols, PCA,CVA,***NEEDS SOMEONE WITH RECENT ICU EXPERIENCE***Certs: ACLS, BCLSPREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:Skills: MS/Tele, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Care of Ventilated patients, Wound Care/Wound VacCerts: NHISSJOB DETAILS:-RATIOS: 1:4-36hrs can be offered.-SHIFT: 12HR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15*All missed shifts should be made up within the same week if possible; if not, time should be added to the end of the contract to make up the missed shift-Float Requirement: FLOATING REQUIRED as needed to Med Surg (1:6 Ratio)-Weekend Requirement: At least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.PATIENT DIAGNOSES: The Intermediate Critical Care Unit is an exciting unit that exists to provide specialized care for patients that include but are not limited to: DKA, Sickle Cell, Sepsis, Respiratory Distress, Pneumonia, Heart Failure, Stroke and stroke like symptomsSPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: The unit functions as a Rapid Response RNSPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Bipap, Cpap, OptiflowUNIT SYSTEMS: PYXSIS, EPICSCHEDULING TYPE: Self-schedule that is then balanced/approved by a stafferUNIT ORIENTATION: 36 HoursSCRUBS: All navy or Navy and White*** INTERNAL NOTES ******Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for, this specialty***
