Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a focus on quality and attention to detail. Responsibilities: - Greet and seat guests in a timely and welcoming manner - Take orders and ensure that guests are satisfied with their meal - Handle food and beverage orders with accuracy and efficiency - Maintain a clean and organized dining environment - Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and addressing any concerns - Work effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure that orders are fulfilled promptly - Manage tables and ensure that guests receive their food in a timely manner - Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods - Handle cash and credit transactions accurately - Utilize OpenTable and Aloha POS systems to manage reservations and table assignments - Participate in ongoing training to improve knowledge of fine dining and customer service - Maintain a high level of sanitization and cleanliness throughout the dining area - Perform other duties as required Requirements: - Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a fine dining or nightclub setting - Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tables simultaneously - Knowledge of basic math and the ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately - Familiarity with OpenTable and Lightspeed systems a plus - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Ability to work flexible hours, including brunch, lunch, evenings, and weekends - Current Food Handlers certification - Current OLCC Card mandatory Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $14.70 - $14.80 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week Ability to Commute: Eugene, OR 97401 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Eugene, OR 97401: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
