Material Runner - Assembly

*Carpinteria, CA | Full-Time | First Shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)* Exact Staff is hiring a hard-working and diligent Material Runner to join our client's assembly team in Carpinteria, CA. Our client is a leading company specializing in high-quality event venue solutions, including audio equipment and camera lights. This position is also known as a Water Spider — you'll be responsible for ensuring production lines receive materials just in time, helping to prevent work stoppages and delays. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the possibility of growth. This position is ideal for individuals with warehouse, logistics, or production experience. *What You'll Be Doing:* * Ensure production kits are complete when delivered to the assembly cell * Stage materials at the point of use, and replenish when necessary * Work closely with project leads to anticipate material needs and adjust workflow as needed * Implement and refine lean practices, ensuring the replenishment process is reliable and consistent * Track material movement and ensure the integrity of data in the warehouse management system *Qualifications:* * 1–3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or production environments * Experience with warehouse management systems * Experience with just-in-time replenishment or kanban * Knowledge and expertise in Lean/Six Sigma standards * Basic math skills * Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions * Punctual and able to arrive on time at the location *Pay, Schedule, and Location:* * Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday * Shifts Available: First Shift, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM * Location: Carpinteria, CA * Temp-to-hire opportunity, with possibility of growth *Benefits Available:* * Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Insurance * $0 copay for unlimited Teladoc virtual visits * Employee Assistance Program (medical, financial, or legal support) * Coverage available for spouse, domestic partner, and children * Pet insurance available * Resources for parents with children of developmental disabilities *Hiring Requirements:* * Valid identification that proves your right to work in the United States * As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a drug screen and background check. *Apply Today!* If you're interested, please apply!
