Low Voltage Service Technician (Fire & Security)$28–$35/hr | Madison, TN 37115 | Full-Time | OnsiteWe are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Service Technician to support active commercial Fire Alarm and Security projects throughout the Nashville market.This role is ideal for technicians with strong field experience who are comfortable troubleshooting, servicing, installing, and supporting multiple low-voltage systems in commercial environments. If you enjoy working independently, solving technical issues in the field, and handling a variety of systems day-to-day, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team with long-term project stability.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, service, and maintain Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV, Nurse Call, and Intercom systemsAssist with programming, startup, commissioning, and testing of newly installed systemsPerform point-to-point testing and identify wiring, device, or programming issuesRead and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, schematics, and project design documentsSupport installation activities including device replacement, system upgrades, and retrofit workCommunicate professionally with project managers, field supervisors, contractors, and clients regarding project progress and service needsComplete inspections and verify systems are functioning according to manufacturer specifications and applicable code requirementsAccurately complete service tickets, inspection reports, and project documentationRespond to service calls, troubleshooting requests, and emergency system issues as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on job sitesQualifications3–5 years of commercial low-voltage, Fire Alarm, or electronic security experienceExperience troubleshooting and servicing Fire Alarm and security systems in commercial environmentsFamiliarity with Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, Nurse Call, or Intercom systemsAbility to work independently in the field with minimal supervisionStrong understanding of low-voltage wiring methods and installation practicesAbility to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentationKnowledge of NFPA standards and code compliance preferredExperience with systems such as Honeywell, Silent Knight, Bosch, Notifier, Lenel, Avigilon, or similar platforms is a plusStrong customer service and communication skillsValid driver’s license and reliable transportation requiredCompensation & Benefits$28–$35/hour depending on experienceFull-time, long-term opportunityOvertime opportunities availableStable commercial project pipelineOpportunity for career growth and advancementHands-on work across multiple systems and technologiesWe are actively interviewing and looking to hire quickly for multiple openings.MOHR Talent is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
