Role Description Mays Home Care is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for an on-site position located in Deport, TX. The role includes conducting patient assessments, devising care plans, and delivering in-home care to promote patient health and wellness. Responsibilities also involve collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and their families, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress. The role requires adherence to best practices in patient care, along with compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards. Qualifications Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, wound care, and medication administrationKnowledge of care plan development and implementationAbility to educate patients and families on health management and disease preventionEffective communication, time management, and organizational skillsProficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systemsCurrent and valid RN license in the state of TexasBasic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain upon hireExperience in home health or a related field is preferredReliable transportation and valid driver's license for patient visitsCompassion, empathy, and dedication to providing high-quality care
