This role will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support company-wide planning, performance management, strategic finance, and high-impact growth initiatives.Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Planning, you’ll join a lean, high-performing team focused on strategic planning, business performance, investor reporting, and corporate development.What You’ll Do Strategic Finance & Business PlanningBuild data-driven business cases, investment theses, pricing analyses, and financial models to support growth and operational efficiency initiativesPartner with functional leaders to evaluate new market opportunities, product investments, and GTM strategiesSupport annual planning, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processesBusiness Partnering & Performance ManagementAct as a strategic finance partner to business leaders by monitoring KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving data-informed decision-makingAnalyze financial and operational performance trends and provide actionable recommendations to leadershipDevelop dashboards, reporting frameworks, and scalable planning processesMarket Intelligence & Competitive StrategyConduct industry, market, and competitor research to inform strategic priorities and product positioningPartner cross-functionally with Product, GTM, Operations, and Finance teams to shape competitive strategy and market expansion plansSpecial Projects & Corporate DevelopmentLead high-impact strategic initiatives and cross-functional task forcesSupport fundraising, strategic partnerships, M&A evaluations, and other corporate development activities as neededDrive project management for executive-level strategic prioritiesMinimum QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For6+ years of experience in strategy, strategic finance, management consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or other highly analytical rolesStrong interest in fintech, technology, and high-growth startupsExcellent financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to synthesize complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendationsStrong communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple organizational levelsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focusedSelf-starter with an ownership mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced environmentsPreferred QualificationsPrior experience in a high-growth fintech or SaaS companyExperience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives3+ years of people management or team leadership experienceExperience with fundraising, M&A, or corporate development projectsAutomation mindset with strong proficiency in data and analytics toolsWhy AspireOpportunity to help scale a rapidly growing global fintech in the US marketHigh ownership role with direct exposure to senior leadershipCollaborative and entrepreneurial team environmentCompetitive compensation, equity, and benefits packageHybrid work environment based in San FranciscoAspire is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplaceFor candidates based in the US, the base salary range for this role is $140,000–$230,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.We believe in paying competitively for high-impact talent, especially people who thrive in fast-moving, high-ownership environments.
