Yard & Scale House Coordinator Location: Highlands, TX 77562 Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Yard & Scale House Coordinator to join our team in Highlands, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations at the yard and scale house, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing materials, and maintaining excellent communication with drivers, vendors, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee the daily activities at the yard and scale house. Accurately weigh trucks and record weights using scale house software and equipment. Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper paperwork and compliance with company policies. Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and yard personnel to facilitate smooth operations. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and generate reports as needed. Monitor yard inventory and coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize space and workflow. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times within the yard and scale house areas. Assist with troubleshooting equipment or process issues and escalate when necessary. Support management with administrative tasks related to yard and scale house operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications a plus. Previous experience in yard operations, scale house coordination, or logistics preferred. Proficient with computer systems and scale house software. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Basic knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in yard operations. Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift moderate weights.
