We offer a diverse range of programs, including Supported Living, Community Living, Employment Connections, Housing Access, and an Assistive Technology Lab, to foster independence and inclusion.Role DescriptionThis role sits between Human Resources and program operations, helping ensure direct support staff are thoughtfully hired, effectively onboarded, and consistently supervised—especially during onboarding and transition periods when expectations are set and performance matters most.This is a leadership role for someone who:Builds rapport and trust quickly and with easeCommunicates clearly and directlyStays organized under pressureCan make sound decisions and follow throughAs the HR Program Coordinator, you’ll work closely with program leaders and HR to support both staff success and service continuity among the people we support.Qualifications3+ years of experience delivering person-centered supports for people with disabilities1+ years of proven success in a supervisory role (performance management, scheduling, coaching & disciplinary oversight). Duration of experience is less important than demonstrated knowledge and application of supervisory techniques.Solid understanding of HR practices and employment law/policy, including documentation standards and complianceStrong communication and follow-through — staff and managers trust you quicklyAble to balance accountability with support and navigate difficult conversations confidentlyHighly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced, unpredictable environmentsValid OR driver's license, reliable insured transportation, and ability to travel throughout the Portland Metro AreaMust pass an Oregon DHS Criminal History Background Check (no OIG exclusions)CPR/First Aid and OIS Certification required (or willingness to obtain)
