One of our Partners in Washington state is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician to provide 24-hour inpatient hospitalist coverage in Vancouver, Washington. Physicians remain on-site for the entire 24-hour shift and manage labor & delivery patients, obstetric emergencies, and inpatient gynecologic procedures as part of a collaborative OB/GYN hospitalist team. This assignment offers flexible scheduling with 3–8 shifts per month and the opportunity to earn strong compensation through a call callback structure . Pay Ranking: Top 10–15% nationally for OB hospitalist locums (2026 market data) Assignment Highlights 24-hour OB hospitalist call coverage 8 hours of clinical work included per shift Callback pay begins after 8 hours of active clinical work 3–8 shifts per month Possible block scheduling Inpatient only – no clinic Epic EMR Collaborative OB/GYN hospitalist coverage model Travel, lodging, and rental car prepaid Malpractice insurance provided HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission–certified staffing agency Located within the Portland metro area Job Responsibilities Provide 24-hour inpatient OB/GYN hospitalist coverage Manage labor & delivery patients Perform procedures including: Cesarean sections Dilation & Curettage (D&C) Perform inpatient rounding and admissions Respond to obstetric emergencies Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians and specialty teams Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR Skills & Experience Board Certified – Obstetrics & Gynecology Active Washington medical license required at presentation BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) Fetal monitoring certification Recent clinical experience including: 100 obstetric patients in the past 24 months 15 Cesarean sections 30 vaginal deliveries Ability to provide case logs from the previous 24 months
