Job Title: Cleaner & Porter — Dallas–Fort Worth Area *Pay:* $18.00 per hour *Schedule:* Part-time; approximately 2–3 days per week, with visits to multiple properties throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area *Location:* Dallas–Fort Worth, TX — travel between assigned properties required SoLiD Improvements is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented *Cleaner & Porter* to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and readiness of residential and commercial properties across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping spaces clean, organized, and presentable and is comfortable traveling between job sites. Position Summary The Cleaner & Porter will visit assigned properties two to three times per week to perform routine cleaning, portering, and property-maintenance tasks as needed. Responsibilities include interior and exterior cleaning, trash removal, turnover support, and occasional bulk-trash cleanup. Because this position involves traveling to different sites and may include hauling bulk debris to a disposal facility, applicants with access to a reliable truck are strongly preferred. Responsibilities * Travel to assigned properties throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area on a scheduled basis * Clean common areas, vacant units, facilities, offices, and other property spaces as assigned * Vacuum carpets and flooring * Sweep, mop, and maintain floors * Dust surfaces, fixtures, ledges, and accessible areas * Remove trash from units, common areas, exterior grounds, and designated collection points * Clean interior and exterior windows as needed * Perform light portering duties to keep properties clean, orderly, and presentable * Assist with site visits, inspections, and cleaning needs identified by the operations team * Complete bulk-trash and debris cleanup projects * Haul approved bulk trash and debris to the dump or disposal facility when required * Report maintenance concerns, property damage, safety issues, or supply needs to management * Maintain professional communication with team members, property representatives, and residents when applicable * Follow safety procedures and use cleaning products and equipment properly Qualifications * Previous janitorial, porter, housekeeping, commercial cleaning, property-services, or facilities-maintenance experience preferred * Reliable transportation is required * *Access to a truck is strongly preferred* due to occasional bulk-trash removal and hauling responsibilities * Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area * Ability to lift, carry, push, and move cleaning supplies, trash bags, and bulk items as needed * Ability to perform physical work, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, sweeping, mopping, and working both indoors and outdoors * Dependable attendance and ability to complete assigned property visits on schedule * Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work * Ability to work independently while staying in communication with management * Experience using standard cleaning equipment and supplies is preferred What We Offer * Competitive pay at *$18 per hour* * Consistent part-time work, generally *two to three days per week* * Variety of work across multiple Dallas–Fort Worth properties * Opportunity to work independently and contribute directly to well-maintained properties * Potential for additional work hours based on workload, property needs, and performance How to Apply Please submit your application with a brief summary of your cleaning, janitorial, porter, property-maintenance, or hauling experience.
