This is a high ownership, high visibility seat working directly with Quant Researchers to build the compute platform, observability, and AI systems (among several others) that power their automated, model-driven trading systems. Great opportunity to work with a cutting edge, modern open-source tech stack to build cloud native solutions from scratch that directly drive revenue in a measurable, tangible way every single day!Responsibilities:Design, build, and operate the core platforms that power quant research, portfolio construction, and automated trading workflowsPartner closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and other engineers to translate complex research and operational requirements into robust, scalable systemsDevelop and maintain high-performance, distributed compute and workflow platforms spanning on‑premise and cloud environmentsBuild and evolve cloud-native infrastructure using modern containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines)Manage and optimize compute, storage, and data infrastructure to support large‑scale research workloads and time‑sensitive trading systemsContribute to architectural decisions around workflow orchestration, data platforms, access controls, and dependency management across a heterogeneous technology stackBuild tooling and internal services that enable efficient data analysis, modeling, backtesting, simulation, and strategy deploymentQualifications:Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering (or similar field)At least 4+ years of experience building applications or platforms with Python and AWSExperience working with complex, large scale distributed systemsBenefits:Industry leading compensation and benefitsHybrid flexibility in Boston officeChance to join a high-visibility and impact engineering team building the most business-critical investment technology and quant research systems
