Baseball and Softball Sports Specialist

Description: NOW HIRING FOR SUMMER 2026! This position is based out of our David D. Hunting YMCA, but programs at local parks around Grand Rapids. Our Baseball and Softball Sports Specialist will have the opportunity to work alongside our program team in providing the city of Grand Rapids with a free youth baseball & softball league for kids in grades 1st-6th.POSITION SUMMARYThe Sports Specialist for the Ted Rasberry Youth Baseball/Softball League is responsible for planning, performing, and organizing activities and games for youth and teens. The Program Specialist will ensure a safe, fun area for members to interact and enjoy. Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS:Six months to one month of baseball/softball experience or participation; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Working knowledge of sports and ability to actively take part and lead sports activities.
