Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development. Collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
