Fiberglass Machine Operator

Primary Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION Operate centrifugal casting machinery and pipe extraction equipmentWrap fiberglass reinforcement material around mandrelsSet up and operate trim saws and mix stationsUse measuring tools to ensure product quality and specifications are metInterpret product specifications and apply them to machine setup and production processesSupport safe, efficient manufacturing operations and assist team members as neededJob DutiesPerform repetitive manufacturing tasks including fiberglass wrapping and resin applicationStand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods (up to 12 hours)Lift up to 50 lbs. and perform push/pull movements throughout the shiftWork overtime and shifts as required to meet production demandsFollow all safety procedures and properly use PPE and equipmentAssist with on-the-job training of new employeesMaintain a clean and organized work environmentAdapt to cross-training and support multiple areas of productionEducation And QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferredPrevious experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferredAbility to read and interpret drawings, instructions, and specificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safetyAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentDependable with strong attendance and work ethicVeterans WelcomeAt NOV, we proudly support and hire U.S. military veterans.
