Job Description Description:Up Campus Management is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to support operations at Blume on 16th, a newly developed student housing community in Columbus, Ohio. This role is responsible for leading all maintenance operations, ensuring the property is safe, well-maintained, and operating efficiently while delivering a strong resident experience.The Maintenance Supervisor partners closely with onsite leadership and vendors to oversee work orders, preventative maintenance, and unit turns, while maintaining compliance with company standards and applicable regulations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is organized, responsive, and takes pride in maintaining a high-quality living environment.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Maintenance Supervisor oversees day-to-day maintenance operations, including work order management, preventative maintenance, vendor coordination, and unit readiness. This role is accountable for maintaining property standards, supporting budget performance, and ensuring timely and effective service for residents. This position works closely with the Community Manager and onsite team to support occupancy goals, resident satisfaction, and overall property performance.WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FORProperty Maintenance & OperationsOversee and complete work orders in a timely and professional mannerLead preventative maintenance programs to maintain building systems and reduce long-term costsEnsure all units are turned efficiently and ready for new residentsMaintain property appearance and ensure community standards are consistently metSystems, Compliance & SafetyEnsure compliance with all applicable safety standards and regulationsMaintain required documentation and service recordsSupport inspections and address any identified issues promptlyHandle emergency maintenance situations as neededTeam & Vendor CoordinationSupervise and support maintenance staff, providing guidance and training as neededCoordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality work and timely completionSupport inventory tracking and ordering of suppliesRequirements:WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR2+ years of experience in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role5+ years of experience in a real estate or multifamily maintenance capacityEPA certification requiredCAM-T certification preferredAvailable for on call/nights and weekends as needed in emergency situationsStrong knowledge of building systems, maintenance processes, and safety standardsAbility to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficientlyStrong organization and communication skillsAble to start June 1, 2026.THE IDEAL CANDIDATETakes ownership and follows through on tasksComfortable balancing hands-on work with team oversightResponds well in urgent or high-pressure situationsFocused on quality, efficiency, and resident experienceSCHEDULE AND WORK ENVIRONMENTFull-time, exempt roleTarget start date: June 1, 2026On-call availability required, including nights and weekends for emergency situationsWHY JOIN UP CAMPUS MANAGEMENTThis role offers the opportunity to be part of a growing team supporting a new student housing community.
