Business Execution / Strategy Consultant – Securities OperationsNYC or Charlotte, NCSummaryThis role sits within the Securities Operations organization, supporting initiatives across cash equities and fixed income products. The team partners closely with operations, technology, and business stakeholders to drive operational improvements, strategic initiatives, and system enhancements within the Capital Markets environment.The position requires a strong Business Analyst and requirements-focused skill set, with the ability to independently manage projects and execute against a defined book of work with limited oversight.Key ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional efforts to strategize, plan, and execute operational and strategic initiatives across Securities Operations.Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, and Product teams to gather and document business requirements, particularly related to cash equities, fixed income, and securities processing workflows.Support initiatives involving industry platforms such as Broadridge, ensuring operational processes and system functionality align with business needs.Perform analysis and fact-finding using data and stakeholder input to identify process improvements, mitigate risk, and increase operational efficiency.Translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable deliverables, working closely with technology and project teams.Facilitate working sessions, group calls, and stakeholder meetings to drive alignment and decision-making.Provide updates and presentations to leadership using PowerPoint and other communication tools.Collaborate with the broader Business Execution and Strategy teams to implement solutions and support strategic programs.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Execution, Strategy, Consulting, or Business Operations within financial services.Strong Business Analyst / requirements gathering skill set, including documentation and stakeholder engagement.Experience supporting Securities Operations environments, with exposure to cash equity and fixed income products.Familiarity with Broadridge or similar securities processing platforms.Ability to own and drive standalone projects with minimal oversight.Experience working within Agile environments and tools such as JIRA.Strong communication and presentation skills, including PowerPoint and facilitating group discussions.Ability to analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and drive implementation.
