Packaging Engineering Technician

Job Title: Packaging Engineering Technician (Medical Device)Duration: 12+ Months (Possible extension)Location: Arden Hills, MN 55112Onsite RoleResponsibilities:The Packaging Lab Technician provides hands-on support for package testing, laboratory operations, and equipment maintenance within a packaging engineering laboratory.Responsible for preparing test samples, executing standardized test methods, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring laboratory equipment and work areas remain organized and compliant with quality requirements.Perform routine package testing under the guidance of engineers and senior technicians.Prepare, label, condition, and document test samples.Operate laboratory equipment such as compression testers, environmental chambers, seal strength testers, and leak test systems.Record test results and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.Assist with calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.Support engineers with project activities and completion of work requests.Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.Education/Experience:Basic mechanical aptitude and computer skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a laboratory environment.Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new testing methods
