Field Project Manager

Position Summary: The Field Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company policy, commitments and goals. Duties and Responsibilities: Review customer contracts/purchase orders for content such as scope, cost, terms, warranty, and schedule to ensure compliance with company policy. Preparation of proposals to assure compliance with schedules, budgets, and corporate policy, including detailed review of proposal specifications, drawings, and specific requirements. Lead the planning and implementation of projects. Manage project budgets. Plan, schedule, and maintain project timelines. Provide daily communication, direction, and support to all project participants including customers, all internal departments, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and construction crews. Provide excellent customer service. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve successful project completion. Obtain and provide project evaluations and assessment of results. Travel as required to provide hands on customer service such as participation in preconstruction meetings, job inspections, grading of subcontractor work and any other related commitment as needed. Skills and Specifications: Strong verbal and written communication skills; with the ability to effectively communicate complex commercial or technical information. Demonstrated proficiency with MS Word, Project, Outlook, and Excel. Able to read and understand blueprints. Solid problem-solving skills. Able to manage multitask work in a fast-paced environment. Able to work proactively and independently on a broad variety of projects. Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work. Willingness to work additional hours in order to meet job requirements. Able to travel in the course of work approximately 10% of the time. Education and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering Technology or related technical field is preferred, or; Associate degree with 2-3 years relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2 – 4 years project management experience with API 650/653 is preferred.
