Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, a publicly traded specialty electronics materials company (NYSE-listed) building new manufacturing capacity for a copper platform that has never run at commercial scale. This is not a renovation or an expansion of an existing line. It is a greenfield build, and they are first to market.Most Sr. Manager roles drop you into an existing operation to manage incremental work. This one starts before the operation exists. You will run capital project execution at the Fremont site and across other facilities, partnering daily with the site engineering lead, general contractors, and vendors. The decisions you make over the next 12 months shape how this facility runs for the next decade. Travel is up to 20% domestic.• Lead greenfield factory projects from scoping through commissioning• Manage capital project scopes up to $20M, with schedule, cost, and quality accountability• Coordinate cost, resource, and timeline planning across vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams• Drive regulatory compliance: hazardous materials permitting, air quality permitting, building codes, and environmental requirements• Partner with engineering and operations to define the process as the facility comes online• Keep senior leadership aligned with clear, regular reporting on progress and riskThere is no playbook here. No one has manufactured this copper platform at commercial scale, so you will write the process alongside engineering and operations. If you need a fully defined scope before you engage, this role will frustrate you. If you do your best work building structure in early-stage environments, it is hard to find a project better than this one.• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field• 8+ years of capital project management in chemicals, semiconductor, advanced materials, or a similar process-manufacturing environment• Hands-on greenfield construction and startup experience• Working knowledge of hazardous materials and air quality permitting, building codes, and environmental regulations• Strong cross-functional communication and command of standard project-management tools• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification• First-of-kind or pilot-to-commercial-scale manufacturing buildouts• Direct chemical-industry experience (a few years is plenty if the rest of your background is strong)???????? ????????????: $129,000 to $168,000, depending on experience??????????: Performance bonus????????????????: Full medical, dental, and vision; 401(k) with company match; PTO and paid holidays; paid parental leave; tuition reimbursement; professional development support????????????????: Fremont, CA.
