Agronomy Plant Operator

Description:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: Include the following and others may be assigned o Promote and support sales and service through our Agronomy Division • Greet people in a friendly and professional manner • Promote new marketing ideas related to our Agronomy Division • Work closely as a team, for customer satisfaction and an excellent cooperative image and service • See that crop production products and nutrients are delivered to the correct legal descriptions and maintain specific nutrient labels • Conduct business without delay • Responsible for correct inventory • Responsible for packaged bulk and shuttle chemicals • Help customers with any issues they may have (maintenance, parts, etc.) o Keep our support buildings clean and neat to promote safety for our customers and our image to the public • Comply with all safety policies/procedures and observe all safety rules and regulations without exception • Wear personal protection equipment for safety • Check and properly maintain our support equipment to meet safety and dot requirements • Maintain the trucks and pickups. Keep in excellent working conditions, focus on excellent image to our customer base. • Keep inventory clean and sellable. • Keep a daily, monthly and yearly maintenance schedule for all equipment • All rolling stock /assets should be maintained and kept spring ready at all times. • Manage and monitor day to day activities of the plant. o Keep shrink and/or shortage to a minimum o Be at work on time and work the scheduled hours o Notify the Operations Manager on any customer complaint or compliance issue o Cooperate fully with the main business office to maintain accurate information for our customer base
