Multimedia Marketing Coordinator

Essential FunctionsThe Multimedia Marketing Coordinator is responsible for "telling our story" by creating and producing high-quality, engaging multimedia content that supports district communications, marketing, and engagement efforts. This role focuses on video production, photography, and digital storytelling to promote student success, staff excellence, and district initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, stay current on current trends and possess creative agency.TasksCreate and curate engaging and informative content that highlights the mission and initiative of SUSD across multiple platforms: website, social media, video, photographyCapture and produce video and photography content across district sites and eventsCollaborate with Communications team to execute strategic content plansSupport district campaigns related to enrollment, recruitment, and community engagementAssist with management and growth of digital platforms (social media, website)Provide multimedia coverage of district events and programsMaintain organized digital media libraryMonitor social media trends and implement appropriate strategies to increase engagement and followershipStay current with industry trends and best practices in content creation, social media management, and digital marketingAssist in the planning and, promotion, and execution of events organized by the departmentOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills And Other CharacteristicsStrong storytelling and visual communication skillsStrong eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality workAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlinesStrong collaboration and communication skillsCreative problem-solving, adaptability and organizational skillsWORK ENVIRONMENTTravel to school sites and district events requiredOccasional evening/weekend workApplication RequirementsCompleted applicationResumePortfolio of multimedia work (video, photography, or social content) QualificationBachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field2–4 years of relevant experience in multimedia production or digital marketingProficiency in video editing and photography tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or similar)Experience creating content for social media platformsPreferred QualificationsExperience in K–12 education or public sector communicationsBilingual (English/Spanish)Knowledge of accessibility standards for digital contentSALARY: PNT-260, Grade F Hours per Day: 8 Days in Contract: 260 School Year: 2026-2027Application ProcedureApply online
