If you want the freedom to grow at a firm that is invested in your future, keep reading.OpportunityCDF's Los Angeles office has an opportunity for attorneys with at least 3+ years of experience in employment defense litigation to join a tight-knit group of dedicated and diverse professionals. Attorneys will work on litigation and non-litigation matters for a wide range of clients, from small businesses to Fortune 500 corporations across many industries.Depending upon experience, the attorney should expect to be involved in all aspects of our practice, including pre-complaint investigations, case analysis, strategy drafting and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, motions and other court appearances, administrative matters before various state and federal agencies, running the day to day aspects of arbitration and trials, mediations, advise and counseling, and legal research and writing on a wide variety of areas. Experience in traditional labor is a plus, but not necessary. Litigation will generally consist of single-plaintiff EEO, PAGA and other class/collections action litigation.Experience and interest in business development is preferred, but not required.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years' experience in employment law defense litigation in California.Class/collective action experience is preferable.Successful candidates will be highly motivated and responsive, have excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills, value a collaborative team environment, and will be prepared to work independently and assume significant responsibilities.Bilingual abilities are a plus.EducationJuris Doctor.
