Benton Harbor Charter School Academy is an educational community that teaches each child as an individual. About Benton Harbor Charter School Academy: BHCSA is set up in three different community levels; Foundation (K-2), Gateway (3-5), and Preparatory (6-8). We believe that every child should have the opportunity to learn in a safe environment where their unique needs are met through individualized support. Each community level has a lead teacher who is there for coaching and mentoring guidance. Each community level also has a student advocate to assist with restorative justice practices and classroom management.
