You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to embed quality into every stage of the development lifecycle, leveraging modern automation and AI-assisted testing approaches. This is a high-impact role where you will shape quality engineering practices and improve system reliability at scale—apply today to help drive innovation in healthcare technology.What We OfferCompetitive compensationComprehensive health and dental coveragePaid time off and company holidaysFlexible remote work arrangementsEmployee wellness and professional development programsWhat You’ll Be DoingOwn and evolve the end-to-end automation strategy across UI, API, integration, performance, and security testingDesign and implement scalable automation frameworks using modern tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Playwright) integrated into CI/CD pipelinesLead adoption of AI-assisted testing techniques, including LLM-driven test generation, optimization, and defect detectionDefine and standardize quality engineering practices across teams, including BDD and TDD approachesPartner with Product and Engineering to influence system design and ensure applications are built for testability and scalabilityEstablish quality metrics, reporting frameworks, and dashboards to drive visibility and data-driven decisionsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements where applicable (e.g., GxP, FDA, 21 CFR Part 11)Mentor engineers and SDETs, raising the bar for automation architecture and quality engineering practices across teamsDrive measurable improvements in test reliability, execution speed, and defect escape ratesWhat We Look ForBachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceAt least 7 years of experience in software test automation or quality engineering, including ownership of automation architectureStrong hands-on expertise with browser automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver or similar technologiesProven experience designing automation strategies across UI, API, and backend systemsExperience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with advanced testing techniques to improve coverage and efficiencyExperience with behavior-driven development frameworks and collaboration with teams practicing test-driven developmentProficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or TypeScriptStrong understanding of test data management, environment orchestration, and test reliability at scaleExperience working in regulated environments such as healthcare, life sciences, or clinical trials is an advantageStrong communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions and mentor teamsAbility to work remotely within Canada with availability overlapping Eastern Time hoursAt Clario, our purpose is to transform lives by unlocking better evidence.
