Failure Analysis Engineer
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field (or equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience)6+ years of experience in Failure Analysis, Quality Engineering, or Reliability EngineeringStrong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and FMEA methodologiesHands-on experience investigating mechanical, electrical, and fluid-system failuresExperience supporting manufacturing operations and RMA analysisAbility to read engineering drawings and technical specificationsISO 9001 quality management system familiarityStatistical analysis tools such as Minitab preferredData center infrastructure or server hardware experience preferredMandarin Chinese proficiency requiredResponsibilities:Lead failure investigations and identify root causes through troubleshooting, data analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologiesDevelop failure analysis reports with clear findings and recommended corrective actionsOwn quality issues from detection through resolution, coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement and verify corrective actionsTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system-related issues and support production teams in resolving quality problemsAnalyze returned products and customer failures to determine root causes and support quality investigations
