This role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and young adults in a collaborative virtual care environment. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in pediatric and adolescent psychiatry and value flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful patient impact.This is a 1099 contract role designed for clinicians who are comfortable practicing independently while contributing to a supportive, mission-driven team.Schedule Requirements:Minimum commitment of 10 hours per weekAvailability during peak demand hours:After 3:00 PM ET on weekdays, and/orFlexible availability on weekendsKey Responsibilities:Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments via telehealthDiagnose and treat mental health conditions in pediatric and young adult populations (ages 2+)Prescribe and manage psychotropic medicationsDevelop individualized, evidence-based treatment plansProvide patient and family education as appropriateMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHRCollaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure continuity of careRequirements:Master's Degree from an accredited nursing programBoard Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania PMHNP/CRNP/APN licenseDEA license and prescriptive authority requiredMinimum 2 years of independent psychiatric experience under licensureDemonstrated experience working with pediatric populations (ages 2+)Strong proficiency with telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and digital toolsReliable computer, phone, and high-speed internet connectionCompensation & Benefits:Compensation: $120/hour (1099)Professional liability insurance fully coveredDedicated administrative support to minimize non-clinical workloadAbout AAS Locum TenensAAS Locum Tenens was founded by healthcare leaders who understand your career needs, guaranteeing the highest level of service and commitment.
