Key Responsibilities: Industry Engagement & Relationship Management Serve as the primary liaison for businesses seeking to engage with the government through Matter Labs programs. Develop and nurture relationships with industry partners, government stakeholders, and innovation ecosystem members. Represent Matter Labs and its partners at industry events, meetings, and conferences. Program Development & Management Lead the curation, development, and execution of government and industry engagement programs. Oversee program deliverables, track key performance indicators, and ensure project milestones are met. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, summarizing key insights, program impact, and growth opportunities. Resource Navigation & Business Support Direct companies to available resources, opportunities, and strategic connections. Assess and understand a company’s technology and its potential applications within the DoD. Facilitate introductions between companies and resources where resources are needed. Communications Act as an advocate for the local innovation ecosystem, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Work closely with the Matter Labs internal team and external Public Affairs Offices (PAOs) to communicate announcements, event recaps, and key industry updates. Collaborate with external partners on projects that enhance regional innovation and technology commercialization. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, public policy, or a related field. Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills. Passion for innovation, emerging technology, and entrepreneurship. Proven experience in program development and management. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently. Excellent writing, editing, and content development skills with a strong attention to detail. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives. Ability to travel as needed for industry engagement and partnership development.
