We are Dover Precision Components, SummaryThe assembler puts together various products such as service equipment, reading detailed instructions to ensure products are created efficiently and correctly.Essential DutiesReading and comprehending instructions and following established proceduresCollecting all material and equipment needed to begin the processTaking precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of componentsSelect or modify components according to measurements and specificationsAlign material and put together parts to build more complex unitsCheck output to ensure highest qualityMaintain equipment in good conditionQualificationsEducationPreferred- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Be able to read, write, and speak English fluentlyExperienceOne year minimum manufacturing experience.Ability to perform basic math, including the use of calculators.Proven experience as an assemblerSkills & AbilitiesStrong attention to detail and accuracyCross-referencing documents and partsUse of hand tools (Torque screw drivers)Key Performance Characteristics Leadership Capability Effective Communication SkillsStrong Work EthicSense of UrgencyPositive Attitude Honesty/Integrity Position Type, Schedule and TravelThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00-3:30 pm or 3:30-12:00 am. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.Physical Requirements & Work EnvironmentLifting and CarryingAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 lbs.
