The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, confirming credit worthiness, and improving the loan application process by communicating additional requirements to applicants. This role also involves rejecting loans and explaining deficiencies, as well as approving loans and assisting customers with their inquiries. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, who is looking to be part of a growing institution and has the potential to take over and expand an established portfolio. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience as an Ag or Commercial Loan Officer, with a strong background in credit and a business development mindset. Leadership aspirations, a team-first mentality, and the ability to expand loans, client relationships, and cross-sell bank products are essential. Familiarity with the sales, commercial loan processing, and closing processes, as well as a working knowledge of the agricultural industry, is also required.
