NET DeveloperLocation: Houston, TX (Hybrid)Schedule: Onsite Monday-Thursday, Remote FridayInterview Process: Two-Step InterviewAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking a talented.NET Developer to join a leading digital commerce and eCommerce technology organization that supports a portfolio of well-known home improvement and specialty retail brands. This team is responsible for building and enhancing customer-facing applications and backend services that power large-scale online shopping experiences.This is an exciting opportunity to work on modern cloud-based applications, distributed systems, and high-traffic digital platforms while collaborating with an experienced engineering team in a fast-paced Agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, APIs, and backend services using.NET and.NET Core.Build and enhance ASP.NET web applications and RESTful APIs that support eCommerce and business-critical solutions within distributed system architectures, leveraging messaging and event-driven technologies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, UX, QA, and other engineering groups to deliver high-quality software solutions.Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and best practice , optimize, and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.Contribute to modernization efforts and help drive continuous improvement across development processes and technology stacks.Required QualificationsStrong experience developing applications using C#,.NET, and.NET Core.Proven experience building Web APIs and ASP.NET web with JavaScript and modern front-end development practices.Hands-on experience with React.js preferred.Experience designing and developing applications in distributed systems environments.Familiarity with messaging/event-driven frameworks such as: NServiceBus, Azure Service Bus, Amazon SQS.Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, object-oriented design, and API development.Experience working within Agile development methodologies.Preferred QualificationsExperience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude code.Experience working in cloud environments and modern microservices architectures.Background supporting high-volume eCommerce or customer-facing digital InformationCandidates must be local to the Houston area.Hybrid work arrangement with onsite attendance required Monday through Thursday and remote work flexibility on Fridays.Streamlined two-step interview process.
