This role oversees daily field operations, coordinates crews, and ensures that work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. Responsibilities include assigning tasks, monitoring progress, managing materials and equipment, and enforcing safety protocols. The Construction Foreman works closely with project managers and subcontractors, interprets plans and specifications, resolves on-site issues, and maintains clear communication with team members and leadership. The role also involves inspecting work for compliance, documenting site activities, and supporting continuous improvement of construction processes.QualificationsKnowledge of Quality Control practices and Civil Engineering principles relevant to site work and infrastructure projects.Strong Communication skills for coordinating crews, interacting with project stakeholders, and documenting site activities.Experience supervising construction teams, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance oversight.Thorough understanding of construction safety standards and regulations, with a record of promoting safe work practices.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications, and to identify and resolve field issues promptly.Previous experience as a foreman, lead, or supervisor in civil or commercial construction; wet utilities or concrete experience is a plus.High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in construction management or related fields is beneficial.
