We strive for collaboration which is why we offer a work environment where our employees thrive and develop long lasting careers.Our Business, Your Impact, Our OpportunityWhat you’ll be doing:Annual Budget Preparation and Management for the global Human Resources, Marketing and Communications function, including working with functional leaders and compiling all requests into a comprehensive annual plan and refining throughout the budget processOngoing Budget Management and Financial Analysis, including monitoring spending on an ongoing basis, addressing unplanned or miscoded expenditures and monitoring headcount and related changes.Financial Planning and Reporting, including financial analyses for projects, and generating budget actual and forecast reporting for stakeholdersAd hoc projects and requestsWhat You’ll BringBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as Accounting or Finance2+ years’ corporate budgeting experience preferred including familiarity with financial principles such as accruals, forecasting and allocations; experience with budgeting and planning software such as Anaplan preferredStrong Microsoft office knowledge; experience in Excel and Powerpoint and strong analytical, organization/planning and project management skills; ability to meet deadlinesDemonstrated ability to manage quantitative information in an accurate, timely and accessible manner; requiring attention to detail, planning and follow-upWritten and verbal communication skills consistent with the ability to present information in a clear, well-organized and professional mannerAbility to work effectively in a team environment and independentlySalary Range: $85,000 – $115,000. Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.At Sompo International, we recognize that the talent, skills, and commitment of our employees drive our success.
