Job DescriptionA global engineering and technology provider in the mineral processing sector is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to support its Engineering & Projects activities across North America.This role covers the full project lifecycle, from early-stage customer engagement and proposal preparation through to engineering execution and project delivery. The successful candidate will help convert opportunities into projects, lead delivery of engineering studies and small projects, and contribute to building a regional project delivery capability.The position leads a small local engineering team while coordinating international engineering resources and developing a North American subcontractor network to support project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport customer engagement and opportunity development with the regional business development teamLead preparation of engineering scopes, cost estimates, and proposalsDeliver engineering projects across scope, schedule, cost, and qualityCoordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and subcontractorsDevelop a network of qualified engineering subcontractors in North AmericaMentor and grow the regional engineering capabilityRequirementsDegree in Mechanical, Chemical/Process, or related engineering discipline8-10+ years in project engineering, plant design, or EPC environmentsExperience preparing technical scopes, estimates, and proposalsProven ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering projectsBackground in mineral processing, materials handling, or heavy industrial plantsComfortable in customer-facing technical roles
