Manager, Internal Program ManagementThe Manager, Internal Program Management position will lead day-to-day activities of the project/program management staff to ensure each project is executed on-time and achieves both internal and external goals. Daily activities require working closely with cross-functional teams, providing timely turnaround of deliverables, and maintaining a flexible and proactive attitude.Role and ResponsibilitiesServe as direct supervisor for project/program management staffDevelop direct reports by monitoring and managing performanceRecruit, select, on-board and train new employeesProduce timely and accurate resource capacity (supply vs. demand) management reportingProvide subject matter expertise in project/program management processes and industry standardsEnsure all direct reports use approved tools, templates, processes, desktop procedures and methodologies for successful delivery of all programs and projectsEnsure accuracy and completeness of all project management related artifactsSupport the delivery assurance process to ensure scalability, professional deliverables and program/project successWork with other leaders to institute process improvements for program/project management processesSupport the continuous improvement of future estimates/profitability for all program/projectsDefine, convey and monitor team member deliverables to leverage individual strengths and build team capabilities that will enable sustained successDefine and communicate timelines and expectations to staffSupport testing activitiesProactively identify and resolve potential issues that could impede project successExperience, Qualifications, and EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent field experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in project/program managementMinimum of 3 years of experience managing 3 or more direct reportsExcellent written and oral communication skillsProven ability to develop strong working relationshipsStrong planning and organization skillsStrong change management expertiseProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredLean or Six Sigma experience strongly desiredExcellent presentation skills
