Job DescriptionAccounting Managergpac is working with a stable and growing organization in Illinois seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, lead an accounting team, and support operational leadership with accurate financial insight.This is a high-impact role where the right person will have visibility with leadership while helping strengthen accounting processes and reporting.ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor accounting team membersPrepare and review financial statements and journal entriesManage account reconciliations and general ledger accuracySupport monthly, quarterly, and annual closeCoordinate documentation and reporting for external auditsPartner with operations on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisDeliver routine financial reporting and ad-hoc analysisImprove accounting processes and system efficienciesMaintain internal controls and standardized accounting proceduresQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of accounting experience2+ years in a leadership or supervisory roleStrong knowledge of GAAPExcellent attention to detail and organizationStrong Excel and financial reporting skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines and prioritiesStrong communication and leadership abilitiesCompensation$80,000 - $100,000BenefitsComprehensive benefits package including:Medical, dental, and vision coverageLife and disability insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous PTOFor confidential consideration, submit resume directly to hillary.cooley@gogpac.com.
