The salary range represents a general guideline as ISI considers several factors when determining compensation to include but not limited to the candidate's experience, education, skills, and market location of the position.Position SummaryISI is seeking a full-time onsite Construction Manager (Architect / Engineer) to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center for Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Infrastructure Upgrades.The Construction Manager (Architect / Engineer) will provide senior-level technical construction management and quality assurance oversight for EHRM-related infrastructure projects. This position supports the VA Engineers and project teams in monitoring construction activities, reviewing design and construction documentation, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements and VA standards.Key Responsibilities• Provide senior-level construction management and technical oversight• Review architectural and engineering design documents for constructability and compliance• Monitor contractor performance for compliance with plans, specifications, and codes• Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and change order proposals• Provide technical recommendations to the VA Engineer and COR• Conduct construction inspections and identify deficiencies• Support schedule monitoring and critical path analysis• Review cost proposals and assist with independent government estimates• Participate in progress meetings and issue resolution• Support commissioning coordination and quality assurance activities• Assist in project documentation, reporting, and closeout activities• Note: you may be required to supervise other construction managers. This decision will be made post-interview.Minimum Requirements• Four (4) year degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related disciplineAND• Minimum six (6) years of professional experience practicing as an Architect, Engineer, or Construction ManagerOR• Fifteen (15) years of directly related construction management experience in lieu of degree. Minimum seven (7) years of experience managing facility construction projects including design oversight, schedule management, cost control, and construction administration• Experience performing design reviews and constructability reviews• Experience supporting construction contract administration• Experience monitoring contractor compliance with contract documents• Familiarity with building codes and engineering standards such as IBC, NFPA, NEC, and ASHRAE• Experience supporting commissioning activities and project closeout• Must be a U.S. Citizen• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust (NACI)• Ability to work full-time onsite in Fayetteville, NCPreferred Requirements• Experience supporting healthcare facility construction projects• Experience supporting VA construction projects• Experience supporting IT infrastructure upgrades• Experience working within active hospital environments• Familiarity with VA Technical Information Library (TIL) standardsPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands required of this position described here are of those that must be met by the selected employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job daily. Work shall be performed onsite and may occasionally require after-hours coordination with construction activities
