About Vet At Your Door Vet At Your Door (VAYD) is a locally, veterinarian owned mobile veterinary practice bringing compassionate care to pets and their families across Maine. We operate on the belief that pets receive their best care in the comfort of their own home. Our One Team model means each veterinarian works consistently with the same technician and client liaison. This approach fosters stronger relationships, smoother teamwork, and a more fulfilling work experience - for both our clients and our staff. Your Role in the Field You’ll spend your day in a fully equipped company vehicle alongside your dedicated technician. Your liaison handles scheduling and client communications so you can focus on what you do best: connecting with pets and families and providing thoughtful, personalized care. Most days, you’ll see 5–8 appointments, including preventive care, chronic condition management, and compassionate end-of-life support. There’s no weekend work, no surgery, and no pressure to see high volumes - just meaningful, relationship-based medicine.
