Job DescriptionJob Title: Machinist/Production Operator Working Pattern: OnsiteWorking location: Indianapolis, IN As a Machinist/Machine Operator for Rolls-Royce, you will operate a variety of equipment: turning, grinding, milling, welding. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to any protected characteristics.What You Will Be DoingHere you’ll have the opportunity to work on the following:Perform all duties to the highest quality standards and within the allotted time or budget while adhering to prescribed safety rules and regulationsSetting machine origins, loading automated cells and running production in accordance with the written set-up instructionsWorking and inspecting product to machined dimensions and maintain close tolerances and correlated dimensions with a high demand for squareness, concentricity, finish and parallelismSetting and loading all tools in conjunction with set-up instructions to complete assigned jobs while maintaining safety and asset care throughout your work dayWill lift up to 30 lbs; carry and visually inspect parts; perform repetitive motions, stand and perform basic math Will be responsible for operating multiple types of machines or processesWill work assigned shifts.
